One photo taken of my reflection thru the front window with the overhead booth light on inside looking outside . On coming vehicular traffic can clearly be seen but my reflection in the window is clearly more visible plus I took this Foto predawn time.
While the other Foto is just a shot using IPhone's rear facing camera ! The two photos make for interesting images !

Inspection Lane North and South bound

Inspection Station #1 heading North Bound on I-664 in South East Va. is the First Haz.Mat/Over height/Wide Load Trucks and Campers inspection Station you'd see. It's on the Right or North Bound direction just before the bridge on the Suffolk End of the facility.

From Google Earth this Truck Inspection Station resembles an Oval Small flat race track. Complete with a grass "infield" . This station also has the prettiest Crape Myrtl trees planted in that grass field .http://4sq.com/szoYo9

What we do with truckers and their Haz Mat / wide load and so forth is routine and we accomplish our little task quickly enuf and we have any number of truck drivers that roll in here with the old cliche " Better Safe than Sorry " , they're too lazy to read our over highway signs and when the troopers are here it confuses the truckers and everyone else we deal with.
They sometimes deal with portable scales to weigh trucks, the sometimes inspect the safety of trucks and road worthiness of a truck, sometimes they deal with inspecting the CDLlicenses of the drivers and they do more. They also sometimes occupy our 36 foot wide inspection lane with trucks that we don't deal with. Sometimes as was the case this day, we get a few wide loads in this inspection lane and conditions here become UNSAFE for both of us . Wide loads can come in any width up to 24 feet wide . Something that wide would have not worked earlier today with the Trooper here. His car parked in one lane and any trucks that he was dealing with parallel parked next to his car , chocking down our lane to 12 to 14 feet wide only. That's just one example/ reason.
While both state agencies have to cooperate but it's still a big nuisance when they are here. We do things they don't do and vice versa . Confusing to truckers, campers and the public at large . This little inspection station is NOT a truck scale house .
